I guess I need a wee bit more motivation to regularly updating my blog... Kind of writing a diary that sort when I was very much younger (not that I am very old now...). Hmmm.... dah jadi macam "Days of our Lives" lah pulak ye... Oh no !!!!

Oh yes... got a package from my friend who resides in Notts today... 2 new pairs of M&S jammies !!! Nice... and whenever I bought something new, it keeps me smiling till I fall asleep at night !!! Oh mind u... terus pakai OK !!! Hahaha... macam kanak-kanak !!!

Now I am taking what shall I do with the overflow of toys in this lil house !!! My lil prince has outgrown some of them... Big toys are worth to re-sell but smaller ones, I feel like giving them away... Charity orgs ??? Ish... Maybe ??? No ???

Hello All....

In October I was hospitalised for my appendix... when November came, I thot I have more courage to upload more things but heck NO !!! In December, we went to Indonesia for a short break.. It was fun but when we came back, the maid ran away !!! Aiyoh... then began my nightmares, gotta clean the house, cook and taking care of my 2 year old who is very demanding at times !!!

But I shall say, it's my son's lucky star.... we found a replacement for a maid almost immediately... like 2 weeks gap like that !!! Phew.... But this new maid has never been here before. Some terms she doesn't understand... and the whole process starts again !!! Got to teach her from scratch... Initially I was just as tired without a maid but eventually it worn off....

Now that my son is going to a Playschool from Tues to Thurs.... I finally be able to have "ME" time again... going back to the gym - my muscles need repairing badly after over a month not going to the gym.... And perhaps, more time to upload more stuff !!!

This is no excuse at all.... I have not been uploading anything to my blog since Aidil Fitri and Aidil Adha just passed us by !!! Uish.... bad bad bad.... But then again - I may have a very good excuse after all... I had an emergency appendix OP on 18 Oct 2010 at Gleneagles. Yeay... it was so agonising - I mean the pain when I had it. Of course it was all gone after the OP except I have to take care of the stitches inside out lah kan... Polleney Pati Ikan Haruan to the rescue, had 12 bottles !!! Yukksss.... The smell is so unbearable, one had to stop breathing while swallowing the stuff and got to drink something sweet to take care of the taste immediately too...

I am now back on track and back at the gym too... started with boring stuff like treadmilling only. Hish... But today I joined the STEPS class and survived !!! Hahaha...

Got few of my son's pre loved clothings to upload and will soon revising some of the old prices... Keep visiting me ya...

Time really flies these days... I can still feel my labour pain but my son is almost 2 years old !!! And I just turned 44 this week.... Ahhhhh.... Looking back at my life, how I wish I have children at a younger age but then again, we don't always get what we wanted so badly !!! However, I am thankful for a new life I am leading at present and further is blessed with a wonderful husband who knows me too well... and of course my lil son !!!

Amidst the limited time on my side... I managed to go bowling today with my two gym friends. Of course it took place after we sweat ourselves at the gym lah... But for a start, after a very long time, we only played 2 games each. As expected, the first game was so very poor with my score of 76 only but I improved on the 2nd game with 128 !!! Yeay....

As much as I wanna upload more stuff... I am also a lazy bum these days !!! Patience doesn't seem to be on my side at all. Either that, I am too engrossed with my FB updates and reading friends' updates and post comments !!! Hmmmm...... But then again, I doubt that is the main reason for being plain LAZY !!! I tend to find excuses for everything I do wrongly - lame most of them !!!

With a toddler on tow that needs constant attention, I should reorganise myself !!! My husband told me to de-clutter the whole house and start with our bedroom. Oh yeah I did... I started with drawers and that's about it !!! Hahaha.... I have yet to check the top portion of the built-ins where I put all the handbags... yes, I need a good push to do it. And I do need courage to part with my unused bags too !!! Wait till I put them back in the blog...I should re-list some of them too !!! Like refreshing my listings....

After that I need to organise my lil son's wardrobe... I should put his pre-loved clothes in the blog as BUNDLE sale... That sounds catchy ya ???

Actually, what we should really do, when we buy a shirt for example, we have to take one old shirt out of the closet as replacement. Therefore, the closet will close properly... as in my case, that is hardly being done !!! HELP........

Ahhh.... I wanted to blog as much but then again time has not been on my side these days !!! What more, came New Year - my son started to walk. From that moment, I can't keep my eyes off him at all...

My days are so filled - I go to the gym on alternate days which I wish I could go everyday. But I am thankful that I could still have that few hours to myself at the gym while my son is being looked after by the maid. Next week, he will start his Little Walker class at Kizsports as he seemed to be enjoying it during his trial class last Wednesday. At least he meets other kids of his age and have fun...

Then, I have been busy helping my other half with his event too. A wife cum secretary cum event manager... and everything else. My man and his friends are bikers, so tomorrow they are holding their own fun Moto GP at SIC.

Perhaps, by next week I could upload more stuff FOR SALE - most are my son's preloved items that include his Ralph Lauren clothes and a pair of shoes that I bought from the US !!! Thus, watch out ladies ya...

It feels only a few days ago I gave birth to my darling lil baby... (I can still feel the labour pain till now... Hahaha !!!) and this 26th, he turns 1 year old already. How time rocketed these days... He's been such a bundle of joy and having a baby at an older age taught u so many things especially patience which I lack of at times... I am thankful for having the privilege of taking and caring for my son cos I am retired now from the crappy work force !!! I see him grows on a daily basis, I see him develops, I see him changes... He has tantrums but manageable ones !!!

I thank GOD for giving me the opportunity to be a Mommy !!! Alhamdulillah...

In my pursue of healthy living, I have been wanting to join a gymnasium that is quite decent but with BIG name... Hahaha !!! Image purposes lah ni !!! Most of the gyms I knew then were so far away being the nearest in KLCC, yes that Fitness First. But then I thought, why should I join a gym that I have to drive all the way, paying toll, waste my fuel and of course paying for the parking that would cost me a bomb most definitely !!! So, I hold that idea for the longest time I think... Then in between I got to do free exercises like jogging in my neighbourhood or swimming while holidaying. Hubby has been thinking of getting bicycles for both of us, that too has not been materialised since we came back from Mumbai which was in 2007 but he got himself a 1000cc motorbike though early this year... Hmmmm.....

Oh yes... back to the gym story, today for the first time I went to Wangsawalk Mall in Wangsa Maju to check out the place (Mall is overstatement...cos it's only 2 story building shopping complex). Oh yes... I dragged my lil son and my maid along which my original plan was to buy groceries in Cold Storage. Then I saw the gym's promo booth and while trying to locate where I could get 1 brochure for myself I was approached by Adeline, its membership consultant. I told her my baby napping time was due so she better explain to me in a jiffy. Well... after a few minutes of explanation especially the monetary part, I was satisfied then I signed up at last....

Come to think of it, I used to pay RM150.00/month for a twice weekly mat pilates class. So, I thought this is really a better deal since I can use the gym equipment, attend all the classes (if time and body permit) and no restriction on no of days.... I paid RM337.00 when I signed up which include its processing fee and 1st and last month fees of RM238.00. Monthly I only need to pay RM119.00. Good thing about Celebrity Fitness Gym, they provide you towels when u come. So, you don't have to bring 1 from home.... Phew !!! Oh yes... since it's new, they also waived the Joining Fee of RM500.00, which I reckon it is very costly. Exit fee is RM400.00, which is fair enough.

OK now... I must find that motivation to attend the classes or simply getting fit at the gym. Perhaps I need a few new gymwears too !!! Hahaha.... Will check out at Pavilion tomorrow when I go there to pick up my new shoes at Cole Haan... Hehehe. Now I have excuses to buy gymwears ya.... I must look like a celebrity since I am going to a Celebrity Fitness Gym.... What a joke !!!

U know what... I just discovered that JUSCO has varieties of Nursing Bra, so many designs and colors. Wow !!! What is even great about their Bras is the prices which starts from only RM19.00 if I am not mistaken. They are pretty decent looking, good cotton and comfortable to wear. I got one myself last week and have no regret purchasing it. They even have them wired and unwired. I used to get a few from Triumph and Marks & Spencer, Triumph's bra gets loose after a while, at least mine, the gap seems to open up and could be seen if I wear a white tshirt. Well.... It's over and done with. What awaits us next are the open houses and many delicious and not to be missed dishes. There goes my DIET !!! Ah... what the heck, it's once a year....

Raya for me this year is more meaningful as it was the First Raya for my lil son too !!! Yes... he received duit Raya and I must say it's a welcome change cos previous years, I will be the one who "menghulur", and still is, but this year, I got to receive duit Raya on my son's behalf !!! As usual, he would want to chew the packet once he received it....

I believe everyone is back - grounded with work and the usual routine huh ??? That's life and it's REAL !!!

Ahhh..... I still have loads to upload and sell, but yet I am so lazy to do it. Is it me or is it my surroundings ??? My baby should motivate me actually since he's up and about all the time... But I guess I am running out of energy !!!

Perhaps after Raya I will upload more but there would be a lot of baby's stuff actually !!! Look out for Bumble Bee breastfeeding pillow (moonshape pillow), Avent Manual Breast Pump, few baby's clothes etc etc.... there are all pre-loved items which are still in great conditions !!!

My camera was sent to a service centre yesterday at last but they can't promise that I could get it before Raya.... Ah well.... there goes 1st Raya for my baby without a camera !!! However, we still have the handphones or even siblings' cameras !!!

I have lived my life to taste "hidup merantau" from the age of 18 cos I was one of the lucky ones to be awarded a scholoarship to study abroad after my SPM. Yes it was tough but it's kind of fun as well when you go down that memory lanes which were full of stories, be it sad and great, so nostalgic.... But then again, nothing actually prepares u for living away from home except yourself... How u blend in with your surroundings and how fast u adapt to its lifestyle.... Ahhh... those fond memories during my Uni days !!!

But then again, it opens your eyes when u get to live in a another country where its population for one state almost equivalent of Malaysia's population. Imagine the city that is so crowded, noisy, dusty etc etc.... Poverty rate is so high, people made pedestrian pathways as their homes.... So sad... but it's the truth and living in Mumbai, India has made me realised that no where in the world could substitute home - MALAYSIA !!! U can take India in a small dose, but too large u may go bonkers !!! Hahaha....

Bambam

This is Bambam my darling cat !!! It's his 15th birthday today.... Yes people, long life !!! He used to have a partner, Pebbles but she died in 2005 due to lymphoma. Cats do get cancer....

Along the way, they produced few kittens but I didn't keep any.... It takes a lot to keep a pet, not just money but time as well. Bambam used to be neglected cos I don't have time to deal with him as I was equally busy with my lil son. I only manage to feed him in the morning and evening, then clear his litter box. Now I pass that duty to my maid.... Ahhhhh.....

He's a home bound cat.... I am too scared to let him out and mix with the strays (no offence ya stray cats.....) !!! Stray cats carry a lot of germs, be careful when touching them and always wash your hands after that. But I do let Bambam out once in a while within the compound of the house for some fresh air.

My Maid

My new maid Sri was sent to me Friday Nite by the agent.... My first impression, she's a bit slow but better than the cleverer ones !!! So, I must be very patient dealing with her as to teach her what to do and all.... This is her 1st time in Malaysia after she divorced her husband who went to marry her good friend... Alahai !!! Then, 1st thing I told her, focus, sincere, don't lie and work hard. Not so mean right ???

The next morning I had my long overdue hair and nails appointment... yes, the silver hairs are so visible and my dry ends beyond repair !!! We were off to my usual salon and were there for almost 3 hours !!! My lil son was so cranky but somehow, he is OK with this maid even she's very new in the household. I don't know, maybe babies have better instincts ???

While we were away, my husband became Magnum PI lah at home and went through her things... which nothing much. She came with a small bag that could pass for my toiletries bag !!! Very minimal clothes I can tell ya....

After we were done at the salon, gotta rush home amidst the traffic along MRR2 from Ampang, then off to Tg Karang for an Aqiqah. Of course, by the time we got there what was left is just food. Hahaha.... On the way back, we stopped by at the Fishmarket in Pasir Penambang, Kuala Selangor. Oh my.... looking at the freshest goods there, u would want to buy them all. Imagine, XL King Prawns were sold at RM43/kilo only. Of course being prawns lover, I grabbed some lah kan.... Bought some fish also that were so shiny and so very fresh.... Now that I have a maid, I can start cooking again daily....

New Maid

Finally, the agent told me that a new maid is coming this Friday.... a sheer relieve but then again I am anxious too.. Anxious in the sense that I hope history doesn't repeat. I am thinking of drafting a KPI for this new maid but then again, she might be overstress with the high expectation I have in mind.... Terus gila pulak nanti. Hahaha.... Siapa yang susah, me again !!!

I guess I can't expect much of this maid right ??? But I have to learn from the previous maid that I can't be too nice and tolerance anymore.... that is just me !!! Simply TOO NICE.... I was brought up that way...and I can't help it !!!

One thing for sure... she can't have her own handphone cos it will be the source of all the problems later, and that was what happened to the previous maid. Then I heard lots of stories as well, these maids sometimes would bring "funny stuff" with them when they are new here... if u know what I meant.... Aiyoh !!!

Anyway, I will take it at my own stride lah with this new maid, at least I could rest a little more... She can take care of Aqil for a while, so Aqil would not fall off the bed again !!! Yes... he fell off our bed of more than 2 ft high for the second time last week. He had his left eye blue black eye pea... can pass for Fergie's back up dancer.... The bruise is still there today but diminishing well. Thank GOD for that.... His 1st fall, I panic like mad, took him to Gleneagles, the MO that assessed Aqil also had his daughter fell off their bed... Oh OK.... doctor's baby also fell off bed !!! I was quite relieved lah then.... Last Monday, within a few seconds, BUMP.... he's on the floor again. This time he cried longer.... Waited till hubby got home from work, then off we went to see our GP only this time... She assessed Aqil thoroughly (FOC tau....), then gave him a clean bill of health... Just watch out for sympthoms like vomitting and passing out.... if any baby or child for that matter had a fall, immediately take him/her to A&E !!!! Don't wait ya....

Me being a new Mommy, there are so many things I have to learn and put to practice at the same time.... but mind u, certain things are definitely based on mommy's instincts !!!! Kelebihan seorang wanita..... Yeay !!!

Handphone story

I am happier cos my handphone is finally repaired, more of replacing its LCD which cost me RM280.00. But my camera is yet to be repaired.... hubby is thinking of D90 but then again we are not so much into photography but nothing wrong investing in great camera right ????

Thinking of uploading some more stuff, but I don't seem to have enough minutes to shoot the pics. Lil son is so up and about during the days that limit my movement doing own things... Above all, he is such a joy !!!!

First the camera....now my handphone !!! Yes, the handphone needs repair too. Worst cos its LCD shattered !!! Huhuhu.... Can't see a damn thing .... Poor me. And that will cost me a bomb.... That is more the reason why I set up my own blog to sell stuff - to support my ever increasing expenses. A lot of times, things happened so untimely. Now I am using my old handphone (1st generation 3G Nokia 6680) - it has no USB. The only manner I could transfer the pics thru bluetooth but I need to top up lil baby's pre-paid first !!! Ahhhhhhh.......

OK enough of my sighing over things......

Weekend in Historic Melaka

Our trip to Melaka was very joyful cos it coincided with my birthday and my good friend son's (Adam) birthday as well. Actually we have been celebrating our birthdays together every year since he's small, now he's 11 already.... how time flies huh !!!

We took the river cruise and discovered fascinating sites of Melaka that I never known before. I must say the State Govt had done very well in sprucing up the river and turned it into a tourist attraction. I do hope they could maintain it though... the cruise isn't expensive at RM10.00 for Adult and RM5.00 for children above 4... The ride was 45 minutes long that took us a total of 9km journey to and fro... Not bad ha.....

A Melaka trip will not be completed without a short journey to Serkam Pantai for its grilled seafood.... Yummy !!! That must be the climax of our trip.....

My camera is yet to be repaired, thus, no new upload for now. However, I'll try to do so next week when a temp maid is here till I get a permanent maid who is apparently still in the rural area of Surabaya.... Hopefully, this one is more focus on her intention of coming to Malaysia, the land of plenty !!! That's why we have way too many PATI which include my old maid....

I had lunch at Tony Roma's today, an old darling friend treated me for birthday lunch - so called. Hahaha.... And tomorrow we are off to the Historical City of Melaka for a weekend getaway, ya... kononnye birthday celebration but more for my buddy's son who shares the same bday as I am and we have been celebrating it together for yonks....

Anyway.... to all of ya... have the greatest weekend ya... I know I would at Avillion Legacy Melaka.

Hi Ladies...

I have 3 pairs of sunnies which I have to upload yet !!! Yes... they are all mine and used a few times. Why ??? Because I normally have a few at one time to match my attire and where I go then.. Hahaha !! And now I decided to sell them off, to have enough money in order to get that TOM FORD's pair. But then again, TF's specs are quite heavy, at least to me, compared to the one that I have now. Believe it or not.... I have ONLY one pair that I put on everywhere I go, it's light and protects my eyes !!!

Why the delay ??? My lil Olympus decided to be OFF MODE and need urgent attention from a camera shop very soon. So, I have to rely on my 3.2mp camera handphone of mine. OK lah... it does the job.

Days of our lives....

It has been almost 3 weeks I am without a maid... then I came across a paper report that a maid ran away from her abusive employer of 3 years !!! What ???? 3 years....???? How can a human being could stand the abuses, beatings, hot water pourings etc etc for 3 years ??? I just can't comprehend that... and here I am, with an ex-maid who I treated so nicely, can't even do work as I expected to be. I know they are humans so they are not perfect but then again, a maid has to do what a maid has to do lah kan.... cleaning, dusting, washing, keeping the house spotless at all times etc etc.... She was lucky cos I am a stay at home Mommy, so I take care of my lil clingy angle.

Now.... I have this part time maid who comes fullday on Saturday n Thursday to help me cleaning the house till I get my replacement which I am uncertain when !!! The agent keeps telling me "a few coming this week" but I have yet to see even one being sent to me.... shall I change the agent? What about the fees I have paid ??? Adoiii....

My husband on the other hand has a lot of pity on me but not of help that much. For instance, last Saturday, I had this private party at a friend's house, left my son with him cos he was asleep already. Alahai.... as I was chewing my sirloin steak, I saw 6 missed calls from him. There goes my party.... he came later to bring my son over to join the party... till almost midnight. What a nite that was..... however, I couldn't let my hair down lah....

This is a story of an older Mommy of one... If my friends read this, they will laugh.

It's not that I am complaining so much but life has been pretty topsy turvy this past 2 weeks after I sacked my "up to no good" maid of 5 months. My 6 months old lil hero been so clingy on me which resulted not much can be done when he's up and about. What more, he doesn't nap that long to allow me to complete house chores at one go.... collectively this hero of mine only naps for 2 hours je.... Aiyoh !!!

I m kind of very strained n goofed but I manage somehow. I guess women are given that extra strength to multitasking...

Thus, I do apologise to the ladies that emailed me earlier.... only today I managed to reply. Some businesswoman lah me.....

I do have a few more stuff to be uploaded but I just couldn't slot the time... huhuhu

I never thought about immunizations.

I had never been puked on.

Pooped on.

I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.

I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.

I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child.
