New Maid

Finally, the agent told me that a new maid is coming this Friday.... a sheer relieve but then again I am anxious too.. Anxious in the sense that I hope history doesn't repeat. I am thinking of drafting a KPI for this new maid but then again, she might be overstress with the high expectation I have in mind.... Terus gila pulak nanti. Hahaha.... Siapa yang susah, me again !!!

I guess I can't expect much of this maid right ??? But I have to learn from the previous maid that I can't be too nice and tolerance anymore.... that is just me !!! Simply TOO NICE.... I was brought up that way...and I can't help it !!!

One thing for sure... she can't have her own handphone cos it will be the source of all the problems later, and that was what happened to the previous maid. Then I heard lots of stories as well, these maids sometimes would bring "funny stuff" with them when they are new here... if u know what I meant.... Aiyoh !!!

Anyway, I will take it at my own stride lah with this new maid, at least I could rest a little more... She can take care of Aqil for a while, so Aqil would not fall off the bed again !!! Yes... he fell off our bed of more than 2 ft high for the second time last week. He had his left eye blue black eye pea... can pass for Fergie's back up dancer.... The bruise is still there today but diminishing well. Thank GOD for that.... His 1st fall, I panic like mad, took him to Gleneagles, the MO that assessed Aqil also had his daughter fell off their bed... Oh OK.... doctor's baby also fell off bed !!! I was quite relieved lah then.... Last Monday, within a few seconds, BUMP.... he's on the floor again. This time he cried longer.... Waited till hubby got home from work, then off we went to see our GP only this time... She assessed Aqil thoroughly (FOC tau....), then gave him a clean bill of health... Just watch out for sympthoms like vomitting and passing out.... if any baby or child for that matter had a fall, immediately take him/her to A&E !!!! Don't wait ya....

Me being a new Mommy, there are so many things I have to learn and put to practice at the same time.... but mind u, certain things are definitely based on mommy's instincts !!!! Kelebihan seorang wanita..... Yeay !!!

Handphone story

I am happier cos my handphone is finally repaired, more of replacing its LCD which cost me RM280.00. But my camera is yet to be repaired.... hubby is thinking of D90 but then again we are not so much into photography but nothing wrong investing in great camera right ????

Thinking of uploading some more stuff, but I don't seem to have enough minutes to shoot the pics. Lil son is so up and about during the days that limit my movement doing own things... Above all, he is such a joy !!!!

Sad Story

First the camera....now my handphone !!! Yes, the handphone needs repair too. Worst cos its LCD shattered !!! Huhuhu.... Can't see a damn thing .... Poor me. And that will cost me a bomb.... That is more the reason why I set up my own blog to sell stuff - to support my ever increasing expenses. A lot of times, things happened so untimely. Now I am using my old handphone (1st generation 3G Nokia 6680) - it has no USB. The only manner I could transfer the pics thru bluetooth but I need to top up lil baby's pre-paid first !!! Ahhhhhhh.......

OK enough of my sighing over things......

Weekend in Historic Melaka

Our trip to Melaka was very joyful cos it coincided with my birthday and my good friend son's (Adam) birthday as well. Actually we have been celebrating our birthdays together every year since he's small, now he's 11 already.... how time flies huh !!!

We took the river cruise and discovered fascinating sites of Melaka that I never known before. I must say the State Govt had done very well in sprucing up the river and turned it into a tourist attraction. I do hope they could maintain it though... the cruise isn't expensive at RM10.00 for Adult and RM5.00 for children above 4... The ride was 45 minutes long that took us a total of 9km journey to and fro... Not bad ha.....

A Melaka trip will not be completed without a short journey to Serkam Pantai for its grilled seafood.... Yummy !!! That must be the climax of our trip.....

My Weekly Story....

My camera is yet to be repaired, thus, no new upload for now. However, I'll try to do so next week when a temp maid is here till I get a permanent maid who is apparently still in the rural area of Surabaya.... Hopefully, this one is more focus on her intention of coming to Malaysia, the land of plenty !!! That's why we have way too many PATI which include my old maid....

I had lunch at Tony Roma's today, an old darling friend treated me for birthday lunch - so called. Hahaha.... And tomorrow we are off to the Historical City of Melaka for a weekend getaway, ya... kononnye birthday celebration but more for my buddy's son who shares the same bday as I am and we have been celebrating it together for yonks....

Anyway.... to all of ya... have the greatest weekend ya... I know I would at Avillion Legacy Melaka.

However today, I sold two of my items to a customer without fuss at all. She paid full price too.... Aaaaaaaaa..... bless her !!!!

Today I sold a blouse which my customer came over and collected it. But she ended up going home with two other pieces..... (those pieces which I have yet to upload in the blog). Knowing me, with the broken camera (no time to send for repair yet) and a lil boy who needs attention all the time, I can't find enough time to do things on my own....

Anyway, to Eda..... thank you very much for being my 1st customer !!! And pleasure knowing u...

Hi Ladies...

I have 3 pairs of sunnies which I have to upload yet !!! Yes... they are all mine and used a few times. Why ??? Because I normally have a few at one time to match my attire and where I go then.. Hahaha !! And now I decided to sell them off, to have enough money in order to get that TOM FORD's pair. But then again, TF's specs are quite heavy, at least to me, compared to the one that I have now. Believe it or not.... I have ONLY one pair that I put on everywhere I go, it's light and protects my eyes !!!

Why the delay ??? My lil Olympus decided to be OFF MODE and need urgent attention from a camera shop very soon. So, I have to rely on my 3.2mp camera handphone of mine. OK lah... it does the job.

Just wait huh.... n keep visiting !!!

Days of our lives....

It has been almost 3 weeks I am without a maid... then I came across a paper report that a maid ran away from her abusive employer of 3 years !!! What ???? 3 years....???? How can a human being could stand the abuses, beatings, hot water pourings etc etc for 3 years ??? I just can't comprehend that... and here I am, with an ex-maid who I treated so nicely, can't even do work as I expected to be. I know they are humans so they are not perfect but then again, a maid has to do what a maid has to do lah kan.... cleaning, dusting, washing, keeping the house spotless at all times etc etc.... She was lucky cos I am a stay at home Mommy, so I take care of my lil clingy angle.

Now.... I have this part time maid who comes fullday on Saturday n Thursday to help me cleaning the house till I get my replacement which I am uncertain when !!! The agent keeps telling me "a few coming this week" but I have yet to see even one being sent to me.... shall I change the agent? What about the fees I have paid ??? Adoiii....

My husband on the other hand has a lot of pity on me but not of help that much. For instance, last Saturday, I had this private party at a friend's house, left my son with him cos he was asleep already. Alahai.... as I was chewing my sirloin steak, I saw 6 missed calls from him. There goes my party.... he came later to bring my son over to join the party... till almost midnight. What a nite that was..... however, I couldn't let my hair down lah....
